Dharamkot

Hey guys,
I am sorry I am writing after long, but I have decided to wrap up everything about Mcleod in few days, Mcleod is so diverse and has so many restaurants it is quite impossible to mention.
Now Dharamkot is an interesting place. I give a funny explanation to everyone, well Mcleod is a weekend picnic spot for locals and people visiting Dharamshala, and is inhabited by local Tibetans and foreigners alike. The westerns are mostly bag-packers spending year long in India, while Dhramkot and Bhagsu are colonized by local Himanchalis and Israelis, I know Israeli, funny hun, well some believed they are people who wanted to escape the compulsory military participation. Any, how they are now deeply integrated to the roots and are part of the culture of Mcleod.

Furthermore, you will find the streets fascinating and riveting. All the path signs and restaurant names are in Hebrew, which is surely the least known language in India, and I was impressed by the fact that they have protected their culture and language.
They also offer authentic Israeli and Mediterranean food, and not mention, everything here is always under your pockets.

Hotel :
Dharamkot offers cheap rooms, usually people just take a room to sleep and smoke. Usually rooms are offered to foreigners and they stay for month or two, or even more. But you will surely get a room, just be sure you know the "Indian bargaining skills".
If you think, you will be find all these rooms and hotels on the some booking website, well then * ARE YOU SERIOUS*, well obviously they are cheap guest houses and they don't feature on any hotel booking website.
But, if you are too much pampered and you cant live with out luxuries in life, well be sure loads of Hotels are available on-line, but from what I have experienced, their located is not usually correct, they are just tagged under Dharamkot.
"Gosh to much details :P "

Hotel Price : 300-500/ Day.
